  • Who stole it?

Watched another movie on Sun in HKG…this time not a Holllywood Movie but a HKG local one. The movie plot is based on the director’s own childhood which was at the late 60s (which I was a toddler), however what the movie is talking about has some kinds of relation with me, because at the early  70s things were more or less the same….I cried several times not only because some parts of the movie are sad, but the silly things that  the little boy has done  recall myself lots of memories….. who  stole it……? I guess the time….

    And the movie is called

    歲月神偷 (Echoes of the Rainbow)

  • 2 Movies within 3 days

Last Thursday Night went ot watch Alice In Wonderland at the a 4D cinema which is located at the HK International Airport Terminal 2 because I could receive the special staff price at HKD80/ticket. What is 4D? Other than putting on the 3D glasses to watch the 3D effects, you could feel the water splashing, wind blowing, see the somke during the movie……and help to make it more delightful

On Friday night went to have a all you can eat Japanese food at Causeway Bay with a couple of friends, so you just pick whatever you like on the order form and the servers would bring you the food. 2 1/2 hours limit have as much as you can……

my Friends Favourite of the night……Salmon Sashimi and the abalone slices

The 3rd day at the Elements Mall, you could feel the Easter festive mood already, and while waiting for the movie, I spotted this  future HK Ice-Hockey team in the making……

Then watched the musical Nine, haha I really like the Italian accent of English here…..the movie reminds me of another classic….All That Jazz by the late Bob Fosse, anyway my friend and I did enjoy the movie, however we both think it’s not everyone cup of tea. After that had a light meal at the  Caffe Habitu  a nice thin crispy Pizza of the week

A lazy layover in HKG this week,  nothing much happening except did take a couple of pictures which I like or I should say related to…..?

Wed evening, while waiting to meet up my friend at Causwway Bay for dinner, was window shopping at the Sogo Departments Store, at the Toy department saw this:

The Special Barbie Collection of Charlie’s Angels in the Baby Kelly doll figure… been  looking for it since last Thanks Giving  in Vancouver,( when it was announced  to be sold  on the internet) from the Toys R us, to Amazon.CA it’s not available, except on the Amazon.com(the US site) but they refuse to send it to any address other than a US one! E-Bay…….yes they have it however my account was suspended…..And eventually I could find it here in HKG  about 5 months later and was imported from ….Toronto though made in Indonesia….and it costs me HKD319.90/set .

Dinner at a restaurant which offer HK local favourties….don’t know why lately there ae quite a number of new establisments offer the same kind of food and emphasize on the retro decor this one I visited is called the Hong Kong Dai Pai Dong. If you are like me grew up in HKG during the 70s you may recognize something..

I am not putting any food pics because eventhogh they tasted good, they are very ordinary like the Beef Brisket in curry sauce on rice, the HKG style Russian Borcht….oh there is one interesting thing regarding this place their server’s  uniform their shirts are from…Emporio Armani

Anyone know the following figure in English?

okok  at  least  one pic about food and drink……their HKG Style Milk Tea was really good

Last but not least…taking a picture at the Time Sqaure that made my day! hahahah  Have a good week-end everyone!
