  • Sleeper Seat in Economy Class

Been lazy for the whole week…doing mainly nothing in Vacouver after  a flight on last Tuesday.  Today stay at home while clearing up my pc I have  found a picture which I’ve seen somewhere in the net months ago saying that Lufthansa the German airlines was considering a kind of sleeper seat on their economy class….don’t know how true the information was but the layout was quite interesting……

  • New Inflight Product RoadShow and a Reunion with SATC in Hong Kong

Flying  into HKG on Sat morning with one of the worst rain/storm HKG had for decades: over 140mm rainfall was recorded within an hour, Though we safely landed, we waited at the tarmac for 20 min as no parking gate was available. And by the time we were at the gate the ‘Red Rain/Storm’ warning signal was hosted and no ground staff were able to  work guess we were quite lucky as after about another 15 mins wait the signal  changed to ‘Amber’ staff were able to attached the aerobridge to the aircraft and let the pax disembark.

One part of the high way from airport to the city was closed since there was a landslide, water and mud flooded and blocked the area and the Airport Express was the only transportation bewteen the airport and the city…Once you get into the city, situation didn’t  get any better since Sheung-wan, Wan -chai  onthe HK island were also flooded with th heavy rainfall….

By the time I got into town in the afternoon, things were back to normal. however since I didn’t want to get wet, I ended up hanging around at the IFC mall which could deep me dry and  eventually visited the Roadshow of the  Company New ‘Longhaul Inflight’ Product. The new product was actually launched about a years ago and being marketed in different countries like Canada, USA, Australia and UK and now finally back home  as over 50% of the longhaul aircraft s have been retofitted with the new product.

Then was supposed to meet the unique SATC cast at the cinema that evening, however since it was a long week-end in HKG, couldn’t get the tickets for the nite buit on Sun nite.

It’s been 4 years since the final episode  aired on TV, going for the movie just like a little reuion with  the cast. With  tons of  PLU and other Die Hard fans, box office will not be a problem. Although the plot was quite preditable as at the end four of them got what they really want LOVE. Carrie for her Mr Big, Miranda for marriage, Charlotte her own born baby, and Samatha her real self, the movie was Enjoyable seeing how things happeded, with good laughs and of cause those Beautiful Dress

    and a little snorkelling

As a lazy person as I am ….the best is to pick a nice Resort and spend most of the time there, since the resort also offer lots of things to do and different nice restaurants to feed you during your stay and this time I picked the Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort though it’s a bit far from the down town area the resort does operate shuttle bus which you can manage to visit the town at different time of the day. The Resort does live up to the 5 stars standard of the Shangri-la group….

    Love the King size bed….

The food in KK is more to Malay/Indian and Muslim  as there is less Chinese compare to other parts of Malaysia, while you can also find a couple  of good Chinese Seafood Restaurant and mind you the whole place does not offer Pork. And I have found out that the KFC in Malaysia offers one of the best Fried Chix, they are hot, crispy, juicey and wow really finger licking good, BUT if you  prefer cold Iced soft drink, remember to ask for an extra glass of ICE….

KK is not a place for shoppers and/or those who like to stay out at night , but for someone who love outdoor adventures and for families who like to put the whole world aside…..
