Currently lots of ppl either in HKG, YVR or even inflight ask me about how to keep my facial skin at such a top condition, normally I just tell them I’m using the La Mar Lotion. Yes Products from Creme de La Mar are very rich in general (except those oil absorbing ones which u usually find in the Asian market), but they really work specially for Mature ppl (like me) living in north America while the climate is dry through out the year i(n YVR though it rains all the winter, the indoor heat can really dry ur skin up). For those late teens and twenties……wait for another 20 years to use the product or else u will find that u can fry an egg on your face the next day morning!
To take care of your skin u hv to hv a good habbit and routine with the product that really effective for you.
To find the products that suit u, I’m sorry u hv to try them out! After trying out all these years the following work for me:
Cleanse: Cetaphil the least irritating water soluble cleanser
Tone: Any brand without Alcohol for me
Moisturize Day time: Ultima II ProCollagen + Revlon New Complexion sunblock SPF20++
Night time: Spring/Summer Avon Anew Night Recovery complex (good concentration of Retinol-A) to clear up your skin P.S too bad this product is discontinued, after my last 2 tubes, I need to switch to another brand with good Retinol-A
Fall/Winter Avon Anew Night Recovery complex + Lotion de La Mar
Eye area: just like the toner, I don’t hv a prefered brand, as long as it’s light in texture.
once a year: Dr Hauschka Revitalizing complex a 3-4 week treatment , lots of ppl call it The Fairy Water. Using 1-2 ampouse each day .It likes putting only floral water onto your face but don’t temp to put on other product or u’ll hv breakouts right a way…be patient u will see the result at the end of the treatment: a more radiant, refine texture( Tks E for such a good recommandation)
Facial: Masks or something….well…I’m not too keen onto this……depends if I hv the mood to do it
and some basic rule: No Smoking/Drinking, less caffeine,fat intake i.e.hv a balance diet, exersice more preferbly cardio/aerobic, Sleep as much as you can. Mentally always be positive, happy and open minded..what else? While dressing upyourself you don’t hv to follow the trend too much but don’t put on something which is…10 years old!
