  • a3 Bar and Restaurant Taipei

Last Sunday afternoon  in Taipei before heading back to HK, had a delightful lunch at a3 Bar and Restaurant Bellavita,  located next to the W Hotel Taipei

    A fusion Italian  experience:

    Bread and complementary hors d’oeuvre

    Ahi Tuna with Salsa

Appetizer Crab Cake and Crab Meat Tartare

    Lobster Bisque

    Wild mushroom n truffle soup

    Iced fruit tea

fettuccine wz assorted mushroom and truffle

    fettuccine wz wagyu ox tail

    Honey roasted walnut

    marshmellow cake wz raspberry sorbet

Chocolate Fountain cake with Pistachio Ice Cream(oooops my mistake of the angle of this pic, the ice cream was blocked)

    Cookies

It’s interesting that my friend and I had similar taste on food while she had the lobster bisque and the mushroom/truffle fettuccnie, I had the mushroom/truffle soup and the fettuccine with meat…. , and yes we both had pasta dishes….

and this meal ended our eating trip in Taipei!

  • The dishes look delicious, especially the dessert.  I wonder how much was the whole dinner?

  • omg…. everything looks so good.  I would love to try those 2 fettuccine dishes.  The only quibble I have is the tuna appetizer.  I can never figure out why some restaurants use such a big dish for a small portion.

I keep thinking you must eat like this everyday although I know that can’t be the case.

  • Wow.  Looks really good.  Doubt I’ll ever get to Taipei in the future, but if I do I’ll definitely eat there.

  • @CurryPuffy - it was not too expensive, actually for 2 person  about HKD900 in total.

@ElusiveWords -  really hard to say maybe since the Tuna hors d’oeuvre was on the house, therefore they made it smaller to serve more clients…?

@Toro69 - yes you should give it a try when u go to Taipei…
