  • Alaskan King Crab Festival

    After I have moved to Vancouver 17 years ago,  I have started to enjoy the Alaskan King Crab Festival in March every year and usually I will go for the Chinese recipe at the Cantonese Restaurant…

    This year I have had totaly 3 King Crab meals over the 4 weeks period and  last night (Sat) was the largest one I have had this year the crab weight apoprox 15lbs and 7 of us sharing it.

    1st dish Steamed with  Chinese Hua Diao Wine

    2nd Steam with Garlic

    3rd Stir-fried in special spicy sauce( which taste like the Japanese Brand Calbee Potato Chips flavour)

    4th dish Fried Rice in Portugese Sauce ( actually a sauce with yellow curry powder but not spicy) and serve in the Shell…
